Joe Evans is an award-winning Welsh documentary filmmaker. He has created, directed, and produced films and series for major broadcasters and streamers, including Netflix, HBO, National Geographic, Bloomberg, CNA, and Discovery. 

Joe is the creator-director of Netflix docuseries Midnight Asia: Eat • Dance • Dream. He won Best Direction (Non-Fiction - Taiwan) at the Asian Academy Creative Awards for his HBO original The World Behind The Teenage Psychic.

His commercial work includes high-rating documentaries for international brands such as Accenture, Changi Airport, FPT, Hyundai, Samsung, Singapore Airlines, Subaru, and Taiwan Tourism.

Joe is the co-founder of Beam Sea, a boutique film production company producing original documentaries and premium branded content. Founded in 2025, Beam Sea works globally from its bases in Singapore and the United Kingdom.
